A memorial service will be held to honor Elmers life on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at pm at Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston, MN.
Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to services.
Elmeris also survived by four half-sisters, Mary Lou, Clara, Louis, and Laurie; two half-brothers, Harold and John; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Sister, Marleen Jolliff; and sister-in-law, Kay Green.
She enjoyed traveling with Carl, baking her Swedish tea-rings and cinnamon rolls, bowling, and playing golf.
After her move to Grand Forks, she began participating in activities at the Grand Forks Senior Center, volunteering at the East Grand Forks Public Library, and attending an occasional Fighting Sioux hockey game.
Elmer loved spending as much time outdoors as he could.
Whether it was deer hunting in the Middle River area, or going for drives in the country around Crookston.
