Update (28/02/2014): The new version of the bootcamp drivers which officially support windows 8.1 still give me this problem, both updating and installing from scratch. Because it has attracted low-quality or spam answers that had to be removed, posting an answer now requires 10 reputation on this site (the association bonus does not count).Would you like to answer one of these unanswered questions instead? The last time these drivers were updated was September 21st.Now that it is early December, these drivers are a little over two months old.As of October 2016, AMD and Apple have yet to release an updated Radeon driver since April.I have just used the process in this article to update to version 16.9.2 of the Radeon drivers to verify it still works correctly.
When using a non-Apple keyboard, the alt key usually performs the same action.
I wish AMD and Apple would update their official drivers more frequently, but at least we still have an option to update unofficially on our own.
If you purchased a Mac Book Pro Retina 15″ model this year after late May, you may have purchased the model with the AMD Radeon R9 M370X discrete graphics processor.
or a way to replace these with the bootcamp version in the window of time between their installation and their activation?
Edit: Just in case anyone wonders, disabling the device in the device manager won't change the outcome.
